Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The position is paid and suitable for applicants with prior administrative experience.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating office activities
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
Handling mail distribution and courier arrangements
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with supplies
Providing general administrative support to team members as needed

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
Clerical experience preferred but not essential; a proactive attitude is essential
Ability to work independently whilst supporting team objectives

This role is ideal for organised individuals who thrive in a busy office environment and are eager to contribute to efficient business operations.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
