Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Usher to join the team at Century Cinema. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, ensuring a positive cinema experience, and maintaining a high standard of guest services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop management and hospitality skills within a vibrant entertainment environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a customer-focused setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
Provide information about film schedules, facilities, and amenities
Monitor cinema auditoriums to ensure guest safety and comfort during screenings
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas, including lobbies and corridors
Manage guest queries efficiently, resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
Support management with daily operations, including ticketing and crowd control during busy periods
Uphold health and safety standards in line with company policies

Qualifications

Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
