Company Overview

We are looking to recruit highly skilled artisan producers for our expanding team, and are prepared to pay excellent rates of pay for the right candidate.

Scotland's Oldest Bakery is a cherished establishment dedicated to preserving traditional baking techniques and delivering high-quality pastries and baked goods. Our bakery values craftsmanship, quality, and community engagement, making us a beloved part of the local heritage.

Applicants MUST have relevant industry experience, passion, and talent. The ability to work as part of a team, to be creative and motivated, are essential.

Experience of producing and finishing celebration cakes preferred.

Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of high quality artisan pastries, ensuring consistency and quality.
Develop new patisserie recipes.
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in inventory management and ordering ingredients.
Ensure all baked goods meet the bakery’s quality standards.

Qualifications

Bakery qualifications.
Proven experience in food production, baking, and culinary arts.
Food safety training.
Ability to develop creative patisserie recipes.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Passion for baking and traditional pastry techniques.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
