Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Solar Sales Representative to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives while developing your sales expertise in a fast-paced environment. The position involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their energy needs, and providing tailored solar solutions to meet their requirements. A strong focus on customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Identify and generate new sales opportunities through B2B and B2C channels
Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their energy needs and present suitable solar solutions
Develop customised proposals and negotiate terms to secure sales agreements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including follow-up after installation
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate product knowledge and smooth project delivery
Maintain organised records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using IT tools
Attend industry events, seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on solar technology trends and sales techniques

Qualifications

Proven experience in negotiation, B2B sales, or customer service roles
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Ability to drive confidently and maintain a valid driving licence
Proficiency in IT systems for managing client data and sales processes
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of the solar energy industry or renewable energy sector is advantageous but not essential
Organised, proactive, with a passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions
