Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing financial records, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, proficiency with relevant software, and excellent organisational abilities. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Xero
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered and up-to-date
Assist with payroll processing and other payroll-related tasks
Support administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence management
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Liaise with external accountants or auditors as necessary to facilitate audits or financial reviews

Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, ideally within a similar industry
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not mandatory

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
