Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Ganarew House Care Home. Based in our welcoming care home, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily needs and enriching their lives through attentive care and engaging activities.

Hours

Day Shifts
36-48 hours per week
Alternating weekends

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident's specific needs.
Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a caring nature.
Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures.
Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
Fluency in English.
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude towards elderly care.
