Full job description

Location: Hayes, West London
Salary: £40,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime. Shifts are scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Monday to Saturday
Immediate start & experienced drivers welcome

About the Role

As a key member of our transport team, you will:

Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region safely, on time and to high food hygiene standards
Drive both company vans and Class 2 trucks on local multi-drop routes
Assist the warehouse manager and team when not driving
Load and unload your vehicle and ensure accurate paperwork and route planning
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete load plans
Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
Accurately check paperwork while loading and unloading
Deliver to customers safely and efficiently across the local region
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any damage
Support warehouse and driving team as required

This role requires a proactive and flexible approach, excellent communication and an eye for detail.

What We’re Looking For

You will need:

A valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence with a clean record
Applicant must be over 23 years old for insurance purposes
3 years minimum residency required
CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
A genuine passion for professional driving and road safety
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Reliability, professionalism and excellent customer service skills
An ability to follow processes and procedures
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
