Full job description

Sirhowy Garage is an established independent garage with an excellent local reputation. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional MOT Tester to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.

We invest in quality equipment, maintain high workshop standards, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
Performing vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs where required
Diagnosing faults and advising on vehicle defects
Completing all paperwork and digital job records accurately
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Essential Requirements

Valid MOT Tester licence
Full UK driving licence
Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Pride in producing high-quality work
