Full job description

Join The Project - Due to an ever increasing work load we’re looking for a hardworking and self motivated individual to join our Team in North Walsham as an Operations Manager.

Specialising in Coach Hire as well as Day Excursions and Coach Holidays from across Norfolk our customer focused flexible approach has ensured our business has continued to grow.

We’re now looking for an individual with a passion for travel and providing great levels of customer service to add to our team; we're seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team and help oversee the day-to-day running of our busy coach operation.

This is a key management role within a respected and growing coach company, ideal for someone with strong operational knowledge and a passion for delivering high standards across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the daily operation of coach services and private hire work
Ensuring all work is effectively planned and allocated
Maintaining compliance with DVSA and Operator Licence requirements
Supporting and managing drivers and operational staff
Overseeing vehicle availability in coordination with the workshop
Ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
Managing schedules, driver hours, and legal compliance standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Knowledge of transport operations (Extra Training will be given)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
Leadership experience with a proactive and professional approach
Transport Manager CPC Preferred, or the Candidate must be willing to work towards the qualification, and training will be provided.
Holding a valid PSV Licence would also be advantageous, but not essential.
