Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, contributing to landscape maintenance, construction projects, and general site upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in horticulture, gardening, and manual work within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop practical skills across multiple disciplines.

Duties

Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and lawn care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
Using excavators and other machinery for excavation or site preparation tasks
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
Performing general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling
Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Supporting team members in site clean-up, organisation, and safety compliance
Assisting with horticultural activities including planting, fertilising, and pest control

Skills

Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and machinery
Proficiency with hand tools such as spades, trowels, saws, and wrenches
Familiarity with operating excavators or other heavy machinery is advantageous
Understanding of irrigation systems installation and repair techniques
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks on equipment and site facilities
Strong physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual labour in outdoor conditions
Good organisational skills with attention to safety protocols during all operations
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
