Full job description

Tyreco Trading are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative / Shunter to join our busy warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role involving warehouse operations, vehicle movement within the yard, and the loading and unloading of tyre deliveries. The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, must hold a valid HGV licence, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload tyres from lorries and vans.
Move HGVs safely around the yard for loading and unloading activities.
Assist with stock management and inventory control.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
Support the wider warehouse team as required.

Essential Requirements

Valid HGV licence (essential).
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Experience with picking, packing, and stock control processes.
Ability to safely handle heavy loads and perform manual handling duties.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
