Full job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative operations within a fast-paced fulfilment environment. This role is key to ensuring accuracy across stock systems, order processing, and operational reporting, while maintaining clear communication between warehouse teams, clients, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Administration

Monitor and control the service support inbox – a key point of contact for internal teams and client queries
Book, track, query and record transport across various clients & couriers
Management of consumables within the warehouse, carrying out regular stock checks and raising purchase orders as and when required.
Ensure all documentation is completed and filed accurately
Liaise with transport providers, suppliers, and customers as required
Maintain and update stock records as required, always ensuring system accuracy
Generate pick lists, dispatch notes, and shipping documentation as required for B2B orders
Support goods-in and goods-out processes with system entries and checks
Assist with inventory investigations
Maintain accurate records in line with audit and compliance requirements
Provide timely updates on order status, stock issues, and delays
Support compliance with company procedures
Maintain audit-ready records (e.g. delivery notes and PODs)
Support warehouse management with ad hoc admin tasks
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and process updates
Provide cover across admin functions during absence/peak periods

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

Previous experience in a warehouse admin, logistics, or supply chain role
Strong IT skills, including Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable:

Experience within a 3PL or e-commerce fulfilment environment
Knowledge of stock control processes and cycle counting
Familiarity with courier/shipping systems (e.g. Royal Mail, DPD, Evri)

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
