Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and emails.
Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and company documentation.
Supporting service, sales, and operational teams with general administration.
Updating and maintaining databases and internal systems.
Assisting with health and safety and compliance administration.
Performing general office administration duties to support the wider team.

Accounts Administration (Preferred)

Experience in accounts administration is desirable and may include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices.
Assisting with credit control activities.
Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
Liaising with suppliers regarding purchasing queries.
Assisting with month-end administrative tasks and reporting.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in an office administration role.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A positive and professional approach to work.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Access to a vehicle is a must due to our rural location.

Desirable Experience

Accounts administration experience.
Experience using accounting software such as Sage or similar.
Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or service-based business.
