Job Summary

Pay depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint, and other finishes to various surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects across commercial settings, ensuring surfaces are finished to the highest standards.

Pay depending on experience

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mix paints, stains, and finishes according to specifications.
Apply paint or other coatings using spray equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during preparation and application processes.
use of blasting equipment
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and project timelines.
Perform heavy lifting when handling large equipment or materials.
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project.
Inspect finished surfaces for quality control and touch up as necessary.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain painting equipment and tools efficiently.
Proficiency with hand tools such as scrapers, and sanders.
Experience with power tools including spray guns, drills, and sanders. and blasting equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling materials or equipment.
Attention to detail with a focus on achieving smooth, even finishes.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with team members and clients. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to delivering high-quality results in every project undertaken.

Pay: £12.72-£15.50 per hour
