Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our professional dental team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative dental care, assisting in patient education, and supporting overall oral health. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a modern clinic environment, utilising advanced dental technology and fostering patient relationships. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional dental hygiene services.

Responsibilities

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar build-up
Conduct oral health assessments and record findings accurately in patient records
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalised care routines
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Maintain sterilisation of dental instruments and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions with patients
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dental hygiene techniques and technology, including CAD systems and medical imaging tools

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral structures and dental tissues
Proficiency in using CAD software for designing or planning dental restorations (nice-to-have)
Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, such as digital X-rays or 3D imaging systems (preferred)
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilisation procedures
Compassionate communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about promoting oral health, with a keen interest in advancing their technical skills within a supportive clinical setting.

Pay: £26.09-£44.00 per hour
