Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of daily office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer programmes. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience within a professional environment.

Duties

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Data entry and updating information accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Process sales order and update sales team for order schedule.
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
Supporting team members with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Handling basic bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing and expense tracking
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times

Requirements

Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with SAGE or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
Attention to detail and ability to handle data entry accurately
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,000.00 per year
