Renewables Electrician

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (with regional travel)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Based in Mansfield, we are a fast-growing renewable energy specialist dedicated to the design, installation, and aftercare of Air Source Heating, Air Conditioning, EV charging, and Solar PV systems across both domestic and commercial properties.

We operate with a 100% in-house team (zero subcontracting) because we believe in maintaining total control over our quality. From the neatness of our plant room wiring to using premium, industry-leading components, we take immense pride in doing the job right the first time. As our installation pipeline continues to expand, we are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Renewables Electrician to join our tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

As our go-to electrical expert on-site, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient electrical integration of our low-carbon technologies.

Carrying out the first and second-fix electrical installation of Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, AC units, and EV chargers.
Conducting thorough testing, commissioning, and inspection of all installed electrical systems.
Diagnosing faults and solving technical challenges on-site with confidence and initiative.
Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards, MCS guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
Delivering excellent customer service, explaining handovers clearly to domestic and commercial clients.

What We’re Looking For

We need a qualified sparky who shares our passion for technical excellence and premium workmanship.

Essential Qualifications:

City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). (Preferable)
2391 Test and Inspection certification (or equivalent). (Preferable)
Full UK Driving Licence. (Required)

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician.
Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience specifically within renewable energy installations (Solar, Heat Pumps).
Strong problem-solving abilities and a professional, customer-focused approach.
