Full job description

Walkers Kitchen is a busy, friendly Restaurant in the heart of St Austell, known for delicious food and great service. We’ve recently extended our opening hours, so we're looking for an additional experienced and reliable Supervisor to join our team on a Full time, Permanent basis to help keep things running smoothly. If you’ve got a passion for great food, high standards and excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

Supervise day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Work with the manager to lead, train and motivate team members to deliver top-quality food and friendly service.
Oversee food preparation, frying and portion control to maintain consistency and quality.
Handle cashing up, stock control and ordering supplies.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Deal with customer queries or complaints professionally and promptly.
Supporting the team with food deliveries when required. (Vehicle is provided)

What we are looking for:

Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking.
Personally motivated and approachable as well as being able to fit into and create a team environment.
Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Must have a Full UK driving licence
Level 2 Food Hygiene or Above with experience in a Café/Restaurant environment.
Friendly, confident, able to lead by example and take pride in their work.
Flexibility to work to the rota is key.
