Job Overview
We are seeking an account manager to join our sales and marketing team working for a successful wholesale company based south of Norwich. Your new role will play a vital part in our growth plans and will help ensure the continued success of the business.

You will maximise and profitably grow revenue through managing and growing existing customer portfolio, prospecting and converting new business opportunities, whist championing the company’s values and vision for growth and setting the standard of excellence within our operating sector.

Responsibilities:

Daily management of customer accounts and creating new opportunities
Monitoring sales data and identifying trends
Managing the full sales journey, from initial engagement to final negotiation
Provide strategic and innovative thinking to create new opportunities to expand listed product ranges within current accounts
Tenacious and proactive approach to seeking new opportunities for sales to increase profitable growth
Analyse sales data to identify risks and opportunities
Forecasting and monthly budget reporting
Interpreting customer briefs, liaising with all departments to ensure participation in briefs/tender submissions meet customer expectations
Leading sales pitched to customers
Negotiating with customers to close deals swiftly
Delivering exceptional and proactive customer service

We are looking for someone who has :

Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Positive, proactive and energetic approach
Passion for food and FMCG experience (preferred)
Strong customer service skills
Confident negotiation and relationship building ability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel proficiency essential (data analysis, reporting, forecasting)
