Overview
Sutton Rose Care Home are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. As our Maintenance Person, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the building, responding to repair requests, and ensuring all facilities are in excellent working order. Your role will be key in helping us deliver a high standard of care through a well-maintained home.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
Ensure the care home is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Conduct regular inspections and identify areas needing attention.
Collaborate with the management team to address maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
Proficient in using various tools and equipment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
