About Us
We are The Cross Keys, a family owned independent Freehouse, nestled in the quaint North Wales village of Llanfynydd, 6 miles from Wrexham.

Our aim is simple. We want to do simple things well, with quality and attention to detail in all we do and provide a happy, warm and welcoming country pub, set in the heart of the community, serving quality food, beers, wine and drink.

We want to be a place where customers can feel relaxed, in quality surroundings, whether that be a special occasion, a family gathering, a pint or a glass after work, a pit stop on one of our circular pub walk or cycle routes or simply a quiet pint of glass of wine sat at the bar, with your dog and a newspaper.

If you love making others happy, have a bit of spark about you, a ready smile, then come on the journey with us.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for permanent/full time an enthusiastic & creative junior sous chef.
You will supervise and help develop the junior brigade in line with senior management.
You will be involved in the menu development process; tastings and your ideas will be brought to the menu.
We want to help nurture you in your career and give you the freedom to thrive, doing what you love.
You will takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Sous Chef and the Head Chef to meet the required standard and quality.
All chefs applying for the role must have experience working in pubs or restaurants that serve all fresh food.
