About the role

From improving transport networks and delivering complex civil engineering schemes to enhancing local communities through sustainable infrastructure solutions, our Regional Civils business plays a vital role in delivering projects that leave a lasting legacy.

As part of our continued growth across the Oxford and Thames Valley region, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly respected infrastructure business delivering a diverse portfolio of highways, structures, public realm, drainage and heavy civil engineering projects for both public and private sector clients.

What you'll be doing

As a Site Engineer you will be:

Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements
Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with company procedures
Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records
Coordinating subcontractors and supporting site teams
Assisting with short-term planning and programme delivery
Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and as-built documentation
Supporting commercial and project management teams with progress reporting
Ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong setting out and surveying capabilities
Knowledge of highways, drainage, earthworks or structures works
Understanding of health, safety and quality procedures
HNC/HND or degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
