About Us

TF Pumps Supplies & Services Ltd is a leading supplier of pumps, pumping equipment, spare parts and engineering solutions to customers throughout the UK. With decades of industry experience, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, technical expertise and reliable support to customers across a wide range of industries.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Customer Service & Sales Administrator to join our team and provide essential support to our sales and administration functions.

The Role

This is a varied office-based position that plays an important role in the day-to-day running of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming calls, processing orders, supporting customer enquiries and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer them to the appropriate department.
Take accurate messages and ensure they are passed on promptly.
Process e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently.
Raise and process purchase orders in line with company procedures.
Liaise with suppliers regarding purchase orders and order status where required.
Deal with customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Chase outstanding pro-forma invoices and quotations.
Maintain accurate customer, supplier and order records.
Provide general administrative support to the sales and office teams.
Assist with other office duties as required.

Hours & Working Pattern

Monday to Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm
Full-time, permanent position
Salary: £26,500 per annum

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent communication and telephone skills.
Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Possess strong attention to detail.
Be confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Be proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
Have previous administration, sales support or office experience (preferred but not essential).
Previous experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous but is not essential.
