Business Manager / Business Administrator – Kew Little Pigs

Location: Office-based
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £16 per hour

About the Role

Kew Little Pigs is looking for a Business Manager / Business Administrator to take an active role in the day-to-day management, organisation and development of the business administration .

We are looking for someone with a qualification in Business Management, Business Administration or a related subject, alongside at least 3 years’ experience in business administration, management or a similar role.

This is a varied and important position for someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, confident with technology and excited about using AI to improve and grow a business.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the day-to-day management and smooth running of the business administration
* Creating, analysing and presenting business reports
* Monitoring bookings, sales, customer data and overall business performance
* Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and customer experience
* Developing and improving business systems and processes
* Using AI and technology to streamline operations and reduce administration
* Managing customer enquiries, phone calls, emails and bookings
* Managing customer reviews and online communication
* Making updates and changes to the company website
* Managing spreadsheets, databases and business records
* Assisting with basic bookkeeping, invoices, expenses and financial administration
* Supporting management with business planning and new projects
* Helping implement new systems, processes and ideas across the business
* Working closely with management to identify areas where the business can improve and grow

Essential Requirements

* Qualification in Business Management, Business Administration or a related subject
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in business administration, business management or a similar role
* Strong understanding of business operations and management
* Basic bookkeeping and financial administration skills
* Excellent IT and computer skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
* Ability to understand data and produce meaningful business reports
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Genuine interest in AI and new technology
* Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple areas of the business

Desirable

* Experience managing or updating websites
* Experience with accounting/bookkeeping software
* Experience with online booking systems
* Experience working within a small or growing business
