Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operations, supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on skills will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to diverse outdoor and indoor projects.

Duties

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and garden care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively for various construction and maintenance activities
Support excavation work using equipment like excavators, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Help install irrigation systems, fencing, and other outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail
Carry out general site cleanup, debris removal, and organization of materials to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members on project tasks, following instructions carefully to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with tools and equipment
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety procedures and teamwork
Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques or horticulture practices is a plus
Willingness to learn new skills related to irrigation systems, equipment operation, and site maintenance
