Overview

CQC registered manager
15-20 clients
clients and office based in Huddersfield

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee domiciliary care services. This pivotal role involves ensuring the delivery of exceptional home care services that meet all regulatory standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As a Registered Manager, you will champion quality, compliance, and compassionate care, fostering a positive environment for both clients and staff. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, uphold best practices in senior care, and ensure the safety and well-being of those in your care.

Duties

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to individual client needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Supervise and support a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to promote excellence in care.
Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, maintaining accurate documentation related to medication administration, care records, and safeguarding procedures.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team capable of delivering compassionate home care.
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to monitor service standards, address issues promptly, and implement improvements.
Foster strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to promote trust and transparency in service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care practices.
Demonstrable management experience with supervising teams within a home or residential care setting.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a registered manager for domiciliary services.
Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, medication administration protocols, and safeguarding procedures.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote a positive team culture.
Excellent communication skills with an explicit focus on transparency and detailed record keeping.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.
