Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, supporting landscape maintenance, gardening, and general site upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in horticulture, construction, and equipment operation within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery as required
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functioning
Assisting with construction projects such as site preparation, material handling, and clean-up
Ensuring work areas are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Supporting team members with various labour tasks across different sites as needed

Requirements

Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
Mechanical knowledge or experience with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
Familiarity with operating excavators or similar machinery is a plus
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and general site maintenance processes
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality work standards
Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
