Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Open Storage and Self Storage Facilities Coordinator to join the Cuboid team in a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will carry out pre-designated facilities works/checks on an individual basis, prepare vacated units/sites for new customers to complete pre planned site maintenance, corrective maintenance and extra works tasks as necessary.

This role will be field based nationwide and main base will be in Chorley, Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily planned and reactive tasks across the portfolio as agreed with the Self-Storage Operations Manager and as co-ordinated by the office team.

These include but are not limited to the following:

Checking units for customer vacations as in line with report from the office, ensuring all customers’ effects have been removed.
Cleaning units through sweeping, mopping, preparing for new customers move ins.
Painting of units when required internally and externally.
General gardening/landscaping were required including preventative measures.
Checks on CCTV functionality on a regular basis to ensure all is in working order.
Adding stickers and locks to units when needed
To carry out cleaning/maintenance of site as and when required.
To carry out planned delinquent overdue units’ checks. Inventory, photograph the effects following the debt procedure.
Reporting of any issues on site which need rectifying to ensure the site is at its full potential.
To carry out planned regular perimeter walk arounds of all sites to ensure integrity of fencing and operation of external lighting and CCTV.
Repairs of minor items as applicable.
Prepare areas for new containers to be dropped, with blocks according to site plans
Meeting contractors when new units are to be delivered to ensure units are level and correctly laid down.
Minor painting works as required.
Carry out planned regular and reactive litter picks and remove fallen leaves as required.
To assist with any planned and reactive work with our construction teams
To assist with any planned and reactive work on internal and external areas as and when required.
To carry out and/or assist, when necessary, with planned and reactive works on grounds maintenance.
Identify any defects found on site to line managers where appropriate and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
Maintain the professional image of Cuboid Self Storage & Focus Yards.
Establish and maintain a good a working relationship with all FI-REM employees and clients’ representatives.
Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.
Prepare Open storage yards for viewings.
