Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Hours: Evening & Night Shifts (Typically 19:00 – 02:00)

Pay: £14 - £15 per hour

The Role

We are looking for experienced, professional SIA Door Supervisors to join our growing team, working at some of Banbury’s premium pubs and nightlife venues.

This role is far more than simply standing on a door. We are looking for individuals who can communicate effectively, resolve situations calmly, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

Providing a professional and welcoming presence at licensed venues.
Checking identification and controlling venue entry.
Monitoring customer behaviour and maintaining a safe atmosphere.
Preventing incidents through effective communication and early intervention.
De-escalating conflict using professional conflict management techniques.
Carrying out physical intervention only when lawful, necessary and proportionate.
Working closely with venue management, local partners and emergency services where required.
Completing incident reports accurately and professionally.
Representing Morvidus Security with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Previous experience working as a Door Supervisor within the licensed trade.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong de-escalation and conflict management abilities.
Competent and confident in the lawful use of physical intervention where necessary.
Professional appearance, excellent timekeeping and reliability.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Own vehicle and full UK driving licence are essential.
Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid qualification.
Previous experience working within the Night Time Economy.
ACT Awareness or similar counter-terrorism training.
