Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff / Front of House team members to join our vibrant hospitality venue. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently at the bar and front of house.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, ensuring presentation and quality.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, tables, and service stations.
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer queries promptly and professionally.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and food preparation techniques.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Experience in serving or kitchen environments is advantageous, including culinary knowledge.
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a hospitality setting.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a lively setting, delivering memorable experiences for guests while honing their hospitality skills in a supportive team environment.
