Unfortunately, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship in line with Home Office requirements. Applicants will therefore be unable to secure a Skilled Worker visa for this role and will require an alternative source of right to work in the UK.

The University of West of Scotland is recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join our Registry team. Within this role the successful applicant will provide a high level of service to students and staff across all campuses in relation to Registry functions which include student records, enrolment support, graduations and international student visa compliance.

The post holder will proactively work within a set of defined procedures to efficiently process information required for the effective handling of student records and the progression of a student from enrolment to graduation.

The successful candidate should have the following:

Educated to HNC level or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or a related discipline, or have relevant practical work experience.
Previous experience of producing and analysing reports, validating data, identifying problems, and seeking solutions.
A working knowledge of developing and managing communications with internal and external stake holders. This includes social media and internal and external website management.
Considerable administrative experience within a busy office environment, with experience of task management and prioritisation of work within a team environment.
Ability to identify and resolve problems, liaising with other departments or staff where necessary.
An understanding of working in customer focused environment, providing guidance and advice in accordance with prescribed procedures.
Experience of updating and maintaining records.
