Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Patient Administrator to join our busy healthcare team. This role involves managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical practice. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing patient experience through efficient administrative processes and excellent communication skills.

Duties

Managing patient appointments and scheduling consultations in accordance with clinic protocols
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record systems
Monitoring emails and correspondence professionally and promptly
Assisting patients and answering general enquiries
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain efficient service delivery

Qualifications

Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare environment or similar administrative setting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent programmes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in record keeping
Knowledge of healthcare terminology is advantageous but not essential
