Full job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, looking to grow and develop with a progressive employer. You will share our appreciation of fine food and share our passion for the highest quality ingredients, to work in our flagship store in Walcot Street, Bath, as a Café assistant/Barista working Tues-Saturday, 5 x shifts per week. Kindly note, this is not a part time role.

Saturday working is on a roster for fairness.

Duties

Cleaning service and seating areas
Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
taking drink and food orders
Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests
Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food
Performing shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris and more
Receiving and processing customer payments

Customer service skills and knowledge
High level of attention-to-detail
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
Positive and approachable manner
Team player qualities
Availability to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays subject to rota

We offer hourly rate, in addition to service charge.

All Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and have necessary experience to fulfil the responsibilities.
