Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various commercial and industrial sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work safely in demanding environments. The Plumber Engineer will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing infrastructure, contributing to the smooth operation of our clients' facilities.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial settings.
Utilise welding techniques to join metal components where necessary.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with plumbing infrastructure.
Perform mechanical tasks such as pipe fitting, assembly, and system testing.
Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects.
Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and system specifications.
Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or modifications.
Drive company vehicles for site visits, ensuring compliance with all commercial driving regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical systems, or related fields.
Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems and components.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various environments.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations relevant to installation work.
Experience with carpentry or related trades is advantageous.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction or maintenance sites.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in demanding conditions. Applicants must be organised, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project undertaken. All positions are paid roles that offer valuable experience within the engineering sector.

Pay: £35,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
