Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our innovative design team in a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in translating architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and models, supporting project development from initial design through construction documentation. Your expertise will help bring visionary architectural ideas to life while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to impactful projects across diverse sectors.

Duties

Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
Create and refine 3D models and visualizations utilizing SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and other modeling tools to support design presentations and technical analysis.
Assist in system design and integration by preparing schematic diagrams and technical specifications aligned with project requirements.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are accurately translated into construction-ready plans.
Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, verify measurements, and support construction activities with technical insights.
Prepare detailed graphic presentations and visual materials that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
Maintain organized project files, documentation, and revision histories to ensure seamless workflow continuity.

Experience

Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician or in a similar role within the architecture or engineering industry.
Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is essential.
Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max is highly desirable.
Familiarity with schematic development, system design principles, and construction processes enhances your effectiveness in this role.
Demonstrated ability to produce precise technical drawings and visualizations that meet project specifications.
Background in construction or related field provides valuable insight into practical implementation of designs.
Excellent graphic design skills for creating compelling presentations and visual materials are a plus.
