Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications. Domestic and commercial.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures or hazards.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and repair work.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for documentation purposes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople or contractors on larger projects to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical trade.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
Strong electrical knowledge including wiring methods, circuit design, and safety standards.

Relevant qualifications needed are 18th edition wiring regulations, NVQ level 3, inspection and testing C&G 2391 or equivalent.

Solar PV and car charging.

Pat testing

DBS Required

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety consciousness.
Valid UK driving licence is essential
Vacancy is on a sub-contract basis, competitive rates for the right candidate.

Pay: £29,120.69-£48,244.22 per year
