HR Administrator (Maternity Cover)

£26,000 – £28,000 | Hybrid Working | Southampton

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to build your HR career in a varied and supportive environment?

At HR Path, no two days are the same. As part of our outsourced HR team, you'll support a diverse range of clients across different industries, from ambitious start-ups to established businesses with over 200 employees. What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our HR team, you'll help ensure our clients receive an efficient, professional, and high-quality HR service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing employee lifecycle administration from onboarding through to leaving employment
Preparing offers of employment, contracts, contract amendments, and employee correspondence
Coordinating pre-employment screening and background checks
Maintaining accurate HR records across multiple HR systems
Processing payroll changes and producing reports for the payroll team
Supporting clients and employees with HR administration queries
Managing employment references
Conducting data audits and ensuring compliance with HR processes
Providing excellent customer service in line with agreed service levels
Supporting the wider HR team with project and ad-hoc activities

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in accuracy, and likes working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

Previous administration experience (HR administration experience advantageous but not essential)
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive and positive approach
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable but not essential
