Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Seasonal Laundry Operators to join our team. This role involves operating laundry equipment and ensuring the timely processing of hotel linens and uniforms. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the hospitality industry, particularly those with hotel experience, to gain valuable skills in a dynamic environment. The role is seasonal, providing flexible employment during peak periods.

Duties

Operate commercial laundry machinery including washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently and safely.
Sort, load, and unload laundry items such as linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to supervisors.
Ensure all laundry is processed within designated timeframes to meet hotel standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area to comply with health and safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and chemicals.
Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines during shift.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality laundry environment is highly desirable, but not essential as training will be given .
Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to work during peak seasons as required. This position offers an engaging opportunity for those looking to develop their skills within the hospitality sector while contributing to the smooth operation of our hotel services.

Pay: £12.99-£13.45 per hour
