Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our accountancy business. Work involves a large number of different clients and tasks such as accounts preparation, VAT returns, bookkeeping (mostly on SAGE). Ideally somebody with some experience in this field already but also happy to train and develop.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using various accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, receipts, and expense reports with precision and attention to detail

Qualifications

Good Exel understanding also an advantage
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in using systems like SAGE or Quickbooks for financial record keeping is preferred
