Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Workshop Manager, where you will lead and oversee daily operations within our workshop environment. This role is vital in ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship, and safety compliance across all projects. As a proactive leader, you will coordinate workshop activities, manage resources, and uphold standards that drive excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Supervise daily workshop activities to ensure timely completion of repairs and routine maintenance while upholding quality standards
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and best practices
Monitor the use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper handling, maintenance, and storage
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety and operational efficiency
Collaborate with procurement to manage inventory levels of parts, tools, and materials needed for projects
Provide training and mentorship to workshop staff to enhance skills in mechanical knowledge and tool usage
Assisting with the delivery of events where required.
Ensure the necessary number of karts are prepared daily and available for events
Assist with the maintenance of the venue and circuit where required
Conduct periodic checks of site plant and vehicles.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Knowledge & experience working with Honda GX engines
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team
Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, suppliers, and clients
Knowledge of safety regulations related to workshop environments
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Experience of mechanical work in a motorsport environment, preferable.

Due to the nature of the business weekend work and some evening will be required.
