Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver/Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with heavy lifting. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Deliver goods to clients or designated locations in a timely manner
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy or bulky products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
Follow health and safety procedures throughout all tasks

Skills

Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
