Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly team. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop essential skills in patient care, dental nursing, and reception duties within a supportive environment. The role combines clinical assistance with front-of-house responsibilities, providing a comprehensive introduction to the dental profession. If you are eager to learn, communicate effectively, and thrive in a busy setting, this position is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage appointment scheduling efficiently using IT systems
Assist dental practitioners during procedures by preparing equipment and ensuring patient comfort
Provide excellent patient care by explaining treatments and addressing concerns clearly
Maintain accurate patient records and update information using practice management software
Support infection control protocols and ensure the clinical environment remains sterile and organized
Handle reception duties such as answering calls, managing enquiries, and processing payments
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

No prior experience required; full training will be provided for all duties
Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and colleagues
Basic IT skills for managing digital records and appointment systems
A genuine interest in patient care, nursing, or healthcare professions is desirable
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
