Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

This position is based in Birchwood, working Monday to Friday between 6pm and 8pm.

Job role will be on-site at a precise location.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Empty bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques or methods in cleaning practices.
Reliable transportation to get to the workplace
