Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to work evenings or weekends, with opportunities to develop their skills within a lively environment. A strong focus on customer service, food safety, and time management is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company policies
Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
Manage cash register operations, handle payments, and provide correct change
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Engage with guests to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in bar operations with cocktail experience is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Familiarity with serving techniques, including handling cash transactions and POS systems
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
