Full job description

Job Overview:

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Data Administrator to join our care team.

This position is a part-time role only

Monday - Friday - 9:30am to 2:30pm

The main purpose of this role is to keep our records and data accurate, up to date, and well organised. You will work with care records, staff information, spreadsheets, and electronic systems, making sure information is entered correctly and any missing or incorrect information is identified.

This role would suit someone who is organised, confident using computers, good with numbers and data, and has excellent attention to detail.

Main Duties:

Enter and update information on computer systems and spreadsheets.
Check care records and staff records for missing or incorrect information.
Keep databases and electronic records accurate and up to date.
Update training, supervision, competency, and other staff records.
Check daily care records, care plans are accurate, visit information, and medication records.
Keep compliance trackers and spreadsheets up to date.
Identify missing information and report issues to the relevant team member.
Carry out regular data and record checks.
Prepare simple reports and summaries for management.
Help keep records organised and ready for audits or CQC inspections.
Maintain confidentiality when handling personal and sensitive information.

Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organisational skills.
Accurate data entry and record keeping skills.
Ability to spot errors and missing information.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working with confidential information.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous administration or data entry experience is preferred.

Desirable:

Experience working in health and social care.
Experience using electronic care management systems.
Understanding of GDPR and handling confidential information.
Experience with spreadsheets, databases, or compliance records.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
