Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista, to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a passion for coffee are highly valued. Previous experience is essential. training will be provided to ensure consistancy with our standards, and operational procedures. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Serve customers efficiently while maintaining friendly and professional interactions.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
Follow food safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and optimise customer satisfaction.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
Previous barista experience is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
