Qualified Electrician
Gallagher Electrical Ltd – Cradley Heath
£45,000 – £50,000 Depending on Experience + Overtime + Training + Career Progression
About Us
Gallagher Electrical Ltd is a family-run electrical company based in Cradley Heath, covering the Black Country, Birmingham, the wider Midlands and occasionally further afield.
We’re a father-and-son business built on reputation, trust, reliability and doing things properly. We’ve worked hard to build a company people genuinely trust into their homes and businesses — and we’re looking for the right electrician to grow with us long term.
Most of our work is domestic and small commercial electrical installation work, including:
- First and second fixing
- Fuse board changes
- Testing and inspections
- EV charger installations
- General electrical maintenance and installation work
We also work within renewables and newer technologies, including solar PV and EV infrastructure, and we’re looking for somebody who wants to develop alongside the business as we continue to grow.
This is not a “just turn up and pull cables” kind of role.
We’re looking for somebody who genuinely takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, treats customers properly and wants to be part of building something good.
Why We’re Hiring
The business is growing steadily, and we’re now at the stage where we want the right qualified electrician to become a real long-term part of the company.
Not a subcontractor.
Not somebody just looking for the next pay packet.
We want somebody who wants a career, progression and the opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking electrical business that plans to become one of the most trusted electrical companies in the Black Country.
For the right person, there’s genuine opportunity here:
- Further training
- Renewable technology training
- Solar PV experience
- EV installation progression
- Running larger jobs
- Potential future leadership responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the business, not just work for it.
Why You’ll Enjoy Working With Us
- Family-run company with a friendly culture
- Varied work — no two weeks are exactly the same
- Mostly local work across the Midlands
- Opportunity to upskill into renewables and solar
- Paid training and CPD
- Overtime available
- Standard holidays plus your birthday off
- Company pension
- Uniform provided
- iPad provided
- Fuel card for company travel
- Company van planned for the right person
- Friendly office, dog appearances included free of charge
Most importantly, you’ll be treated like a valued member of the business — not just a number.
