Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and sales-driven Van Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products efficiently while actively promoting sales opportunities. This role requires excellent driving skills, , and strong communication abilities to ensure customer satisfaction and maximise sales performance. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for reliable service and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial van, including flatbed vehicles, to deliver goods to clients across designated routes
Engage with customers professionally during deliveries, promoting products and services to increase sales opportunities
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to maintain vehicle safety and functionality
Assist with loading and unloading goods at warehouses or client sites, ensuring proper handling of products
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status or issues
Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies during all driving activities

Qualifications

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
Demonstrable ability to manage time efficiently and work independently in a fast-paced environment
