Experienced Welder - Blyth, Northumberland

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Welder to join our busy engineering company in Blyth, Northumberland.

JW Colpitts & Co Ltd is a reputable fabrication and construction company with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We specialise in a wide range of fabrication and building projects and pride ourselves on delivering excellence in every aspect of our work.

Requirements:

Proven ability to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium to a high standard.
Proficient in MIG and MMA welding techniques.
Experience working both in a workshop and on-site.
Strong attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Full UK driving license.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that it is adhered to at all times.
Responsible for carrying out all types of MIG/TIG welding to high standards using engineering drawings and jig arrangements.
Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard.
Working to tight deadlines.
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production.

Salary: £14.00-£17.00 per hour based on experience (to be discussed during the interview).

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
