Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of food safety and hospitality standards, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of culinary excellence. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation processes, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction
Supervise and motivate team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, ensuring timely delivery of dishes and adherence to recipes
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest experience
Implement training programmes for staff development in areas such as food safety, service standards, and hospitality best practices
Assist in organising promotional events or special menus to attract new clientele

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively
Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes
Experience in hospitality management, including serving standards and customer relations
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and quality control measures
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
